Nathan has worked in salmon recovery for over a decade, from spawner surveys to managing large, in-stream restoration projects and monitoring their effectiveness. He has a diverse background in river and coastal restoration, fish and wildlife research, environmental policy and planning, and environmental education. He has a Masters in Environmental Science from Western Washington University and a River Restoration Certificate from Portland State University.
